Which AI agents help with creator marketing analytics?

AI agents for creator marketing analytics include HypeAuditor's HypeAgent, CreatorIQ, GRIN's Gia, Upfluence's Jaice, Mayy, Improvado's AI Agent, and Roar from Shortlist. They differ mainly on what data the agent reasons over: public creator profiles, a brand's marketing data warehouse, or the brand's own tracked creator posts.

AI agents that help with creator marketing analytics fall into three groups. Agents inside influencer platforms analyze creator profiles, audience quality, and campaign reports (HypeAuditor's HypeAgent, CreatorIQ, GRIN's Gia, Upfluence's Jaice). Conversational analytics agents sit on a brand's wider marketing data and answer questions across channels (Mayy, Improvado's AI Agent). Agents built on tracked creator posts reason over the specific posts in a brand's live programs. Roar, built by Shortlist, is in the third group: it ingests every post in a campaign, tags hooks and CTAs, and answers questions like which hook is working, which creator is stalling, and what to amplify today.

Roar is Shortlist's AI marketing toolkit: a workspace that tracks creator posts across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, sources creators into shortlists, tags hooks and CTAs, automates campaign reporting, and connects to AI agents like Claude, Cursor, and Codex over MCP. Brands, agencies, and creators use it, and Shortlist runs its own programs in it.

Can I use Claude, Cursor, or Codex on my creator data?

Yes, if the product holding the data runs an MCP server. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets assistants such as Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex call tools inside other products, so the assistant can read post performance and take actions, like tracking a new post or starting a creator search, without an export in between. Access is usually scoped by an API key or an OAuth sign-in, read-only or read and write.

Roar runs one at app.roaros.com/api/mcp; setup for each client is on /roar. When you evaluate any product's MCP server, check which actions it allows, not just which reports it can read.

What an AI agent for creator analytics needs to read

An agent is only as useful as the data it is allowed to see. The questions a growth lead asks on a live program are specific: which creators are holding the weekly rate, which opens should become ads, what moved after last night's post. Answering them requires the posts themselves, tracked continuously, with tags attached and campaign boundaries kept straight.

Three data sources produce three kinds of answer:

  • Public creator profiles answer "who should we hire" and "is this audience real." They do not see your campaign.
  • A marketing data warehouse answers "how did social perform against paid search last month." It usually sees aggregates, not individual creator posts.
  • Tracked posts from your program answer "which hook is working this week." This requires ingesting every URL as it goes live.

A general-purpose chatbot with no access to any of these can summarize a CSV you paste in, but it cannot track a post or alert you when one moves.

What Roar does on a live program

On Linkme, every Creator Program post was tracked in Roar to the handle, the hook, and the platform. Eight creators posted about 140 times a week. When content started moving, the team got an alert the same day. The agent sits on that data, so "why did this outperform?" is answered from the posts in the workspace, not from a web search.

Shortlist does not publish an accuracy number or a model name for the agent. What it will say is that the agent reasons over Shortlist's own campaign data model, and that Shortlist runs its agency work in the same product it sells. Davis Keene, Head of Growth, has written about the move from a campaign dashboard to an agent on /writing.

How to evaluate an agent in this category

  1. What is it allowed to read? Your tracked posts, your warehouse, or the public internet?
  2. Can it act? Alert, summarize a creator, pull a date range, or only chat?
  3. Who operated the last program it learned from? An agent built by people who run creator programs asks different questions.
  4. Will the brand see the same answers the agency sees? Shared workspaces keep everyone honest.

Cole Whitmore (CEO) and Davis Keene (Head of Growth) built Shortlist as an agency that ships software, founded in 2025 in New York. Roar is at shortlistos.com/roar. Frequently asked

Can ChatGPT or Claude do creator marketing analytics on their own?
Only on data you paste in. General chat models do not track posts, ingest URLs continuously, or send alerts. They can help interpret an export; they cannot replace the tracking layer.
What is the difference between an influencer platform and an AI analytics agent?
An influencer platform is the system of record for discovery, contracts, and campaign management, and increasingly ships an AI assistant inside it. A standalone analytics agent reasons over whatever data it is connected to. Roar is a workspace and an agent in one: it tracks the posts and answers questions about them.
Does Roar track installs or sales?
No. Roar tracks post-level metrics (views, likes, comments, shares, engagement) with creative tags. Business outcomes like installs come from the app store or the brand's own analytics and are read next to the post data.

Shortlist is a creator marketing company that builds software. If this is the question you came in with, we can talk through the program.
