RoarOS vs GRIN
GRIN is an ecommerce creator CRM for relationships, product seeding, and campaigns run inside GRIN. Roar, built by Shortlist, tracks any TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube post you point it at, tags hooks and CTAs, and answers questions from that data. RoarOS is the name many teams still search. The product is Roar.

GRIN is a creator relationship platform for ecommerce brands: find creators, keep the relationship, seed product, and report on campaigns that run through GRIN. Roar is the workspace Shortlist built to track the posts themselves. Teams still search the old name, RoarOS. The product is Roar, at shortlistos.com/roar. roaros.com redirects there.
Roar is Shortlist's AI marketing toolkit: a workspace that tracks creator posts across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, sources creators into shortlists, tags hooks and CTAs, automates campaign reporting, and connects to AI agents like Claude, Cursor, and Codex over MCP.

What GRIN is for
GRIN is the system of record when the job is the relationship: who you emailed, who received product, which code they used, which campaign they are in. Ecommerce teams use it to keep that pipeline in one place, and Gia answers questions over the data GRIN already holds. That is a different object from a post URL.
If every post you care about was published through GRIN, with the creator connected, GRIN's report is the natural place to read it. The gap shows up when creators post on their own, when organic and paid need one timeline, or when the question is which hook moved this week rather than which relationship is in which stage.
What Roar is for
Roar ingests a post from a link or a handle and keeps TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube on one campaign. It records views, likes, comments, shares, and engagement. It tags hooks, CTAs, and format. It alerts when a post crosses the view counts you set. It does not track installs or sales. Those numbers stay in the app store or the brand's own analytics and get read next to the posts.
On Linkme, the Creator Program lived in Roar at the handle, the hook, and the platform: eight creators, about 138 to 140 posts a week, an alert the same day a post moved. That is the job Roar is built for.
Sourcing in Roar is an AI search into a shortlist (candidate, contacted, contracted), not a marketplace of opted-in creators and not a seeding CRM. Roar does not schedule posts.
If you are looking for a GRIN alternative in 2026
The search usually means one of three jobs:
- The CRM and the seeding pipeline. Stay with a creator CRM. Roar does not run that.
- The weekly read of what actually posted. Roar is built for that, including posts that never entered a platform campaign.
- Both. Some teams keep a CRM for relationships and use Roar for the post ledger and the agent. Shortlist runs its own programs that way: the deal is operated by the team, the posts are tracked in Roar.
Roar on its own is free for 7 days, then Individual is $249 a month (250 tracked posts, 200 AI credits a day) and Pro is $749 a month (1,000 tracked posts, 400 AI credits a day). Enterprise, for several brands in one workspace, is priced on a call. Every Shortlist offer includes a Roar workspace, so a brand on a program does not buy the seat separately. Prices are in US dollars on Roar pricing.
What this page will not claim
Shortlist has not published a head-to-head benchmark against GRIN. Feature lists move. Gia's scope is GRIN's to describe. The Linkme, Wishlist, and AZVA numbers are what Shortlist's own programs did in Roar. They are not a GRIN result.

Frequently asked
- Is Roar a GRIN alternative?
- For the report, yes. Roar replaces the spreadsheet or the platform report when you need every post, by URL or handle, with hooks, CTAs, and same-day alerts. It does not replace GRIN's creator CRM, product seeding, or creator payments.
- Does Roar pay creators or ship product?
- No. Roar does not process creator payments and it is not a gifting checkout. Shortlist's agency programs handle creator deals separately. The workspace tracks the posts.
- How much does Roar cost compared with GRIN?
- Roar on its own is free for 7 days, then Individual is $249 a month and Pro is $749 a month. Enterprise is priced on a call. GRIN's price is on GRIN's site. This page does not quote it.
